Terms of Service
You, the client, will be expected to read the Norsewolf Terms of Service in advance and understand it.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
Violators will be added to the blacklist indefinitely and without warning.
Customers who have commissioned and/or received works prior to the effective date of these Terms of Service are still bound by their content.
You, the client, must be at least 18 years of age or be of an age where you can legally enter into a contract under civil law in your country. We do not work with minors.
You, the client, may display Norsewolf’s work on external websites, and use it for self promotion, as long as it is clearly credited and linked to Norsewolf.
You may not claim Norsewolf’s work as your own.
Norsewolf reserves the right to reject any project or client for any reason.
If Norsewolf no longer wishes to work on your project for any reason, Norsewolf reserves the right to refund the full amount paid by you.
Norsewolf reserves the right to publish your finished commission in their portfolio for any reason. We will respect the client’s wishes to keep their work private until its “debut”, but this must be discussed beforehand.
Norsewolf reserves the right to sign and/or watermark its own work when it is posted on its website and social media.
Norsewolf retains all copyrights to its works, which includes the right to use the images as samples for sale or self-promotion, unless otherwise agreed.
Norsewolf is not required to post your project in any public space, and if posted, Norsewolf is not required to keep it there indefinitely. Norsewolf has the right to delete or remove any public project, even if you paid for it, as you should have your own final photos.
You are responsible for protecting your ownership of a fursona design.
Norsewolf reserves the right to charge more as they see fit, depending on the complexity of your request.
Norsewolf does not tolerate any form of harassment or attempts to negotiate its prices.
You are responsible for providing an accurate fursuit friendly reference sheet, with both a front and back view, and preferably a side view.
If the commission is a full-suit, we will need the customer to make a duct-tape dummy, hereinafter referred to as DTD.
Making DTDs with incorrect practices or not following our DTD guide may result in a fursuit that does not fit. If we notice an error with your DTD, we will request a new one.
If the customer ends up providing incorrect dimensions or bad DTDs that we cannot detect, we cannot be held responsible for the fursuit not fitting right, so please make sure the information you provide is correct.
If you expect to lose weight or gain weight, it is highly recommended that you wait until your body is in ideal shape before taking measurements and making DTDs.
We cannot make bodysuits on measurements alone, if you want to order a full-suit you must provide us with a DTD.
Norsewolf is not responsible for any errors you make during the transaction.
You, the customer, are responsible for storing any information, types of fur/fabric and other electronic data provided to you by Norsewolf
We expect you to prepay a percentage of the commission price to secure your commission. There are no exceptions, unless otherwise discussed. This percentage usually starts at 50%, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Norsewolf will start scheduling and producing your commission only after receiving 100% of the payment.
The currency of the payment is in CAD, and any currency exchange rate fluctuations will be borne by the commissioner.
Norsewolf usually only accepts payment plans for full fursuits.
Norsewolf will discuss a payment plan with you in advance. You shall pay in installments over a limited period of time.
The amount of each installment as well as the time period will be discussed and documented in advance.
You should continue to pay the above installments without reminder until the total amount is paid in full.
Before the commission starts production, the character designs can be modified, but the price may be adjusted, and we have the right to cancel the commission if it differs too much from the original character.
We will provide samples or photos of the expected fur/fabric for customers to confirm the color and style before starting the production. Please note that the fur/fabric color may not be exactly the same as the design, but we will try our best to match the most similar color.
We will provide necessary photos of the production process aka "WIPS", these photos are not to be shared on social media unless discussed otherwise. WIPS are posted on Patreon and are exclusive for the client and Patreon subscribers.
If a revision request is feasible in production, an additional revision fee will be charged as appropriate.
There may be slight differences between the examples in the Norsewolf portfolio and the product you will receive, depending on when the examples are published. After all, Norsewolf is constantly striving to get better at their craft.
We are unable to give an exact date for the completion of your commission, but may be able to provide an approximate time frame estimate.
If there are any unforeseen circumstances that may cause us to delay a commission, we will proactively notify our clients.
Norsewolf will contact the customer upon completion of the product and the customer will be required to provide a shipping address and contact information for the delivery of the product. Norsewolf will collect all outstanding payments, shipping costs, and other charges that may be incurred from the customer after obtaining a shipping quote.
Norsewolf will only refund 100% of the amount if they have not started working on the order.
If Norsewolf cancels a commission on their own, they will refund 100%.
If production has already begun, and under 50% of the total commission is completed, you will receive a refund up to 50% of the total amount. With the remainder to cover the materials and effort consumed by Norsewolf on this project.
If the commission is between 50%-100% complete, you cannot get a refund and Norsewolf will finish your project. Please contact Norsewolf to discuss the handling of the finished production.
If you, the customer, cancel your order, Norsewolf reserves the right to use all the parts already made.
If you commissioned a design produced by Norsewolf AKA "art liberty" or adopted a character from the Norsewolf summoning pool, Norsewolf will take back the ownership and use of the commissioned reference after refunding the cancellation of the commission.
You are not entitled to issue a chargeback for any reason.
When you need to cancel a commission request, you must contact Norsewolf.
If, for any reason, your Paypal account fails or a chargeback request is authorized without your knowledge, you must contact Norsewolf as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
Intentionally issuing a chargeback without contacting Norsewolf to cancel/refund the item will result in immediate blacklisting of you and your email address, as well as anyone who shares your Paypal account, including side accounts.
You reserve the right to set a deadline for your commission. This deadline must be discussed prior to payment, and expedited fees will be assessed based on the complexity and duration of the commission.
Norsewolf has the right to reject a project if the time is too short. The time Norsewolf reserves for your order depends to a large extent on their current schedule and private life situation.
Harassment of Norsewolf's working speed is not allowed, regardless of how much time has passed. Norsewolf has a busy schedule outside of fursuit work and if you are unhappy with waiting you may request a refund.
Norsewolf will not be responsible for “how you thought it would turn out” if it does not meet your requirements, but will only be responsible for the finalization of the character design you provided.
Norsewolf will not be responsible for any changes in the ownership of the above character.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your commission contains the details that you want Norsewolf to follow.
We can send fursuits all over the world.
Shipping costs are not included and must be paid separately by the customer once the commission is complete.
All packages will be sent using Canada post system with a tracking code, unless the parcel is too big. Oversized parcels will be sent through UPS.
Shipping costs are estimated according to the size, weight, country and time of delivery of the package. Tracking and insurance are always included.
We are not responsible for any customs duties incurred after the parcel has arrived. If you have any concerns about the regulations, please contact your local customs office yourself.
We cannot be responsible for any lost, delayed or damaged packages that are not caused by us.
Within 30 days after receiving the fursuit, if the customer finds any production defects or problems, please take photos and contact us immediately.
Most minor problems can be solved by guiding the customer through instructions, but if the defect is our fault, we will be responsible for free repair.
The free repair service does not cover out-of-size issues.
If it is confirmed that it needs to be sent back for repair, the customer will pay free shipping within the 30-day warranty period.
If there is any need for fursuit repair after 30 days, we must first assess and will charge for the repair as appropriate.
Repair costs will be charged on a case by case basis for repairs where man-made damage is the primary responsibility, whether under warranty or not.
Intentional damage or alteration of the suit at the subjective level will directly result in the loss of all subsequent warranty service for the suit and may result in your blacklisting, as appropriate.
Third party modifications, repairs (based on damage to the main suit) will result in the suit being disqualified from subsequent warranty service.
Shipping costs for repairs after the warranty period must be paid by the customer.
Please make sure to clean the fursuit or parts before sending it to us for repair.
